Our interior design process

Phase one: discovery and measured survey

We begin with a structured questionnaire about daily routines, storage needs, and pieces you intend to keep. A senior designer visits the property with laser measuring equipment, photographing existing conditions and noting services locations that constrain layout options.

Within ten working days you receive a written scope summary confirming budget bands, timeline assumptions, and any specialist consultants we recommend engaging early.

Phase two: concept layouts and mood direction

Two layout options arrive with annotated furniture plans, rough lighting intent, and preliminary material families rather than fixed SKUs. Presentations happen in our studio where samples illustrate texture contrasts before colours are finalised.

You choose one direction or request a hybrid; we allow two revision rounds at concept stage before advancing to detailed design.

Phase three: technical documentation

Approved concepts become dimensioned plans, elevations, joinery details, and electrical layouts suitable for contractor pricing. Specifications list every visible finish with supplier references, lead times, and allowance totals for items still under selection.

Tender support includes answering bidder questions and attending one comparison meeting if you shortlist multiple impresas.

Phase four: procurement and site supervision

Orders are placed through our trade accounts where discounts offset part of our procurement management fee of twelve percent on net goods value. Weekly site visits during installation verify setting-out, tile alignment, and paint consistency against approved samples.

Snag lists are issued at practical completion and revisited after two weeks once you have lived briefly in the finished spaces.

Payment milestones and typical durations

Residential projects commonly invoice thirty percent on appointment, thirty percent at detailed design approval, twenty percent at procurement commencement, and twenty percent at handover. Timelines range from fourteen weeks for single rooms to nine months for whole-home renovations with structural work.

Commercial programmes are mapped to lease deadlines with interim deliverables tied to landlord approval gates where applicable.
